[one_half_last] Welcome to the Overby home. When we were courting, Catherine’s sister loving called Chris “What’s His Bucket”. As we’ve added little “buckets” to our family, we’ve been learning to love each other, and to love the Lord. Passing on the His love from one bucket to another. Of course, there is a lot of messy splashing going on and fires to put out, but we’re in this together!
Chris serves as the manager of the IT department at the International ALERT Academy. He enjoys serving our small community as the chief of the Big Sandy Volunteer Fire Department. He is a hunter, a fisherman, and a lover of God’s beautiful creation. He also keeps his hands busy fixing anything and everything that needs fixing. Reading is one of his favorite pastimes, and he loves to add good books to his collection.
Catherine is a stay at home mom with her hands and heart full of the joys of mothering. She enjoys homeschooling, cooking, researching, learning, and reading. She loves to learn about homemaking, healthy living, educating children, life in other countries, and so much more. She also loves delicious coffee, chocolate, and a good movie.
Savannah is a servant-hearted little girl, full of compassion and consistently helpful. She enjoys music, playing the piano, and dreaming about having her own horse one day.
Caleb is an outdoorsman like his dad. He loves all the creepy, crawly creatures. He is very observant, and God has given him a eyes to see things that many do not notice. He loves Legos also, and is boy through and through!
Zoe is her name, full of life. She is curious, and loves to get her hands into things. She makes lots of messes, but she also gives lots of love. She loves pretty things, jewelry, painted nails, and changing clothes.
Joe is our little athlete. He gets so much joy out of playing with a ball. He also follows his big brother and sisters and his parents around, wanting to do everything that they do. He is a snugglebug and has a smile that melts our hearts. He is our Little Joe Happy Face.
